We went to the air show at Volk Field last month. I thought Brendan would love it. I was wrong. He nearly dropped dead of a heart attack when there was a fly by.
I did manage to get him inside a plane. It was hotter than a son-of-a-gun. The whole time we were inside he told me how hot is was like I didn't know as the sweat poured down my back. He also kept saying "sure is dark in here, huh?" He played along for my amusement but was happy to get out of the plane. Oh well.

I Got a Feeling
There is no picture to this video so don't try to adjust your screen. Brendan's into singing. Everything. Badly. I have been trying to catch it on tape but when he sees what I'm doing he stops. So, this is a secret video. It's not the best sound, but gives you enough to get an idea of what a good singer he isn't.

As the World Turns
I have been getting phone calls from my angry followers (both of them) wondering if we've fallen off the face of the earth. The answer is no. We're all alive and well. It's just been a busy couple of weeks. Plus, our old, sad computer has not been the most cooperative. Jeremy keeps telling me to just use the laptop, but I prefer my old standby.
I do have some pictures, videos, and updates to post and I will try to do so very soon. Owen had an appointment with the Developmental Pediatrician last Friday so we'll tell you about that.
Until then...

A Piece of Key West
While we haven't left the 20 mile radius surrounding our house in weeks, Aunt Ashley and Uncle Jeff went to Key West for their honeymoon and sent us these cool shirts.
The first picture was the product of yelling at them and begging them to look at the camera. Clearly they didn't get where the camera was.
Thanks Ash and Jeff!

Why we love going to Dodie's
We went to Dodie's for dinner a couple weeks ago. We feasted on beef stroganoff. Owen LOVED it. Brendan didn't care. There are farm animals nearby. Who can concentrate enough to eat? Owen ate enough for both of them.
After dinner we went out to play outside.
Owen got to play with the dogs.
Brendan was entertained by having someone kick the ball as far into the yard and he would chase it. Hours of fun.
Owen got in on the fun too.
Dodie sent home some spaghetti for later. The kids ate the whole thing by themselves and loved every minute of it! Hopefully Brendan learns how to eat spaghetti neatly some day. I'm not holding my breath.

Peek!
What kid doesn't love Peek-a-Boo? Owen loves it, but he seems to be more amused with himself than anyone. Listen when his head is covered.
