The Great Pumpkin

Brendan was equally as excited about posing with his pumpkin as he was carving them.

Pumpkin Carving Brendan Style

On Friday night we carved pumpkins. Brendan was excited about it all day. Once he realized what actually entailed he grew bored very quickly.

This how he spent the evening.

Pick a Peck

We went last weekend to Peck's Farm Market with all four kids (Brendan, Owen, Cole, and Maddy).

Owen and Maddy are BFF's. They were confined to the wagon most of the trip.



Maddy didn't want to go in the jumping house with the boys but had a good time sitting outside it with Owen.



Me and the kids went on a train ride around the animals.



Owen didn't actually go on the ride, but sat in for a quick picture.



Cole was in heaven.



Brendan posed for pictures in typical Brendan fashion.



Maddy had a blast. Her dirty face says so.



We all went on a horse drawn wagon ride. Though the picture may suggest otherwise, Maddy was NOT drugged on the trip.

Trouble with a capital T!

I was off work last Monday for Columbus Day. Jeremy was already gone for the day and Brendan was quietly watching one of his shows. We were heading off for a exciting trip to get groceries, but I needed to shower first. I brought Owen in the bathroom with me. I gave him some toys and jumped in the shower. What could possibly go wrong??

This is what I found when I got out minutes later.



Yes, an ENTIRE roll of toilet paper.

Lazy Days

Sunday was a lazy day around here. Ask Owen, he stayed in his jammies all day. After dinner he got a bath and a fresh pair. That didn't stop us from playing outside though.






I think we're done outside now...

Night at the Museum

We went a few weeks ago to the Madison Children's Museum. We had appointments for Owen bright and early one morning so stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. We headed to Madison after work, checked into RMHC, then headed to the museum since they're open late on Thursdays.

The museum has a big window for the kids to paint on. It probably would be more cool earlier in the day. It was starting to get dark out when we were there.

There was a lot of stuff to do, but Brendan was happiest playing with another little boy on the slide. A good time was had by all.

I'm a rock star baby

All I wanted was a simple picture of Owen in this outfit because I thought it was cute. I wasn't asking for cute poses or even a smile. Just a picture of him actually looking at the camera. Instead, we spent the time climbing up the couch to look out the window and gawking at Jeremy and Brendan across the room.
