This picture would've been perfect if it wasn't for the for the reflection from the handle bars and the shadow across his. He's actually smiling and looking at the camera.

It was nice out on Saturday so we played outside at Grandma's for a little bit. Brendan was playing on his trike.

Adventures of Cole and Brendan
After a nearly three week hiatus, Brendan and Cole were reunited. They got to spend the day together at Grandma's on Friday. Then, since Uncle Tony was putting together Brendan's new playset (which I did not take ANY pictures of. What was I thinkking?) they got to play on Saturday while Papa helped Tony. It has been a really long time since Cole was at the house and Brendan was so excited and eager to show off.
Apparently, the world is their stage....er, or my coffee table is, I mean. They were performing for Tina. She was VERY impressed with their mad dance skills. Or jealous, if you must. She thought she had the cool moves. She was sadly mistaken.
Here are a couple of Cole that I found to be enjoyable from a few weeks ago.

Oh deer!
We went last weeekend back to the Wisconsin Dells Deer Park. A good time was had my all. Sometimes so many deer come for their crackers that it gets a bit overwhelming when your stroller is completely surrounded but we dealt.

I wanna be a clown when I grow up.
I forgot to mention in the other blogs that Brendan was a little social butterfly. He often walked up to random kids and said "Hi". That was always followed by a very fake "A-choo!" We tried to explain that's not the way to make friends in the height of the Swine Flu pandemic. And he wonders why he didn't walk away with any new BFF's.
The children's museum had a station where everyone could paint their faces. There were several brave parent's allowing their kids to decorate them. We were not so willing, but allowed Brendan to spruce himself up. He was not creative enough to try to add eyebrow. Jeremy can be blamed for that. Obviously, he wasn't into it since he only walked away with one.
I think this is his "What have I done to myself" face.

Explore your creativity
As I said in my last post, we went to Minnesota last weekend. We went to the Minnesota Children's Museum and the zoo. Here are some pictures from the museum. Just a few...
I have a couple more pictures and video that I'll post another day. Have to keep you coming back for more.
There is an arts and crafts area. Or as Brendan likes to refer....snack time. Who knew crayons were so delicous?

They make you work really hard there. There are bones to haul and mail to me sent.
We probably could've just gone to this area and spent the whole day there. There is a fish tank with a few fish and a turtle. Attached to it is a stream where the kids can play and it runs into a beaver dam that you can play in. He was perfectly content at the stream. I cannot explain what was going on with his tongue that day.

Driving in style
Oschner Park
We went last Sunday afternoon to Oschner Park. Kind of disappointing. I'm not sure where all the animals went. Oh well, Brendan was happy as can be just roaming free. No chance of losing him there. Afterwards we went to Menard's to pick out his swingset. He was able to play on the floor models there. Who knew Menard's could be so much fun?
