Working out is hard to do

Brendan and Jeremy went for a walk a few weeks ago. Obviously, it was very hard work for Brendan...

Ready, set, go!

We were at Home Depot the other day and Brendan got down in a runner's stance and said "Ready, set go!" and took off like a bandit. We have no idea where he learned that but it was pretty darn funny. He has also learned that spinning makes you dizzy. That's tons of fun to do.

In other news, we had an appointment the other day and confirmed that baby #2 is a boy. Here are some pictures of him. Though no one believes us, he DOES NOT have a name yet. But, when he does have one the likelihood of you hearing it before July are slim.

Easter 2009

On Easter we went to church for Maddy's baptism. After lunch, Papa took the boys to the park. Brendan wasn't into it at first until he realized what was going on, then he was all game. Here are a few pictures of him, Cole, and Papa.

Sick boy...

This week Brendan had a double ear infection. He was in a good mood considering. Bedtime was pretty miserable. He needed lots of cuddle time.

Outdoor man

Last weekend we went to a Cowan shindig. Being the people person that Brendan is NOT, he could care less about the people. It didn't help that the party was during naptime. He was just thrilled to be able to play outside. He did try to warm up to Abbi but she had not time for him.

And exhausting day.

Bad hair day

For all you skeptics who are forever commenting on Brendan's lack of hair, here is some evidence that there is SOMETHING there. This is him first this in the morning last weekend.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

After dinner we tried a teeny tiny ice cream cone. Brendan wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first. I'm not sure we can say he mastered it, but he ate some. Mulder finished up the leftover's for him.

Lately taking a picture is hard because as soon as Brendan sees a camera he says CHEESE and makes his hideous cheese face. The first picture you can tell by his mouth he just finished saying cheese but didn't do the face.

He has a camera he carries around the house holding to his face saying CHEESE for anyone who will pose. Of course, the camera doesn't work but why tell him that?

Don't let the bed bugs bite

This is what a little boy who sleeps in his own bed two whole nights in a row looks like before he gets up on day two! He thinks it's funny to roll over and have Amos sitting there watching him.

Tonight we'll put actual sheets on the bed and make it a little less trashy.

What a zoo

On St. Patty's Day, I took the day off work and we headed to the Milwaukee Zoo. It was a perfect day since it was 70 degrees. Brendan loved it much more this time. The last couple times we went, he was more interested in people watching than animals.

At each animal, he had to make the sound they did.

Apparently, the elephant was stinky so he had to shove his fingers up his nose.

He loved the fish aquariums. There were fish in there that were huge. He was amused and confused by that.

We needed a snack break.

Whe we were nearing the end, we let him out of the stroller to stretch his legs and roam free....well, kind of. Call it cruel, but the leash is perfect for him.

It was an exhausting day! He needed to rest on the stroll back to the car.

Thankfully, he was able to listen to his tunes on the ride home.
