Riding in cars with boys

A camping we will go
Brendan got a tent for his birthday. The tent has taken up space in our other living room ever since. He calls it his "playhouse". Lately he wants us to join him inside. Pretty much we just sit in it and he plays outside. Last week we went camping in the living room. We broke out blankets and pillows. When it was time for bed, Brendan insisted we head to a real bed. It was fun for the 25 seconds it lasted.
When camping, always bring your (toy) phone for emergencies.

Game Day
It was a cold, crappy day and we spent the day in our pajamas (or underwear in Brendan's case---not sure where his pants went). Owen was napping and Brendan was having a particular emotional moment. He has spent hours and hours playing Play-Doh over the passed few weeks and needed to try something different. Candyland to the rescue. It only kept him amused for a short time, but it was something new to try.

My little union supporters pt 1
This was completely unprompted. I was cleaning up after making when Brendan broke into his chant. The plane flying overhead and distracted him a bit. Owen tries to join in. Earlier he was chanting "Kill the bill".
