Outdoor Men

With all the warm weather that we've been having we have spent a lot of time outside going on adventures in the woods, swinging, going for walks, just playing.  We have been going for a walk every night.  They pile up in the wagon and off we go.  They are loving it.  The only downside is that wood ticks are out in full force and we've seen some mosquitoes already too.  Ugh.

I tried to get picture proof of it with Josiah, but I'm afraid this picture won't convince anyone that is what is going thru his tiny little head.

Luck of the Irish

 Before bed the night before St. Patrick's Day, I helped Brendan set a Leprechaun trap.  He was SURE that we would catch one.  We used rainbows to get it's attention.  We used a bowl of Lucky Charms as bait.  Once the trap was set he went to bed.

When he got up Saturday morning the trap had been tripped and he thought for sure he had one.  

Upon further investigation he discovered that the sneaky little somehow escaped the trap, but left a pot of gold behind.  

We were sooo close.  Maybe next year we'll get him.
