All about Brendan

Sunday was the first time that Brendan got to have a day that was all about him since Owen was born. We dropped Owen off at Alicia's to play with Maddy for the day and we headed off to Milwaukee to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live. Brendan LOVES all things Yo Gabba Gabba.

We hopped in the car and stopped in Madison for lunch then ventured on to the show. Brendan just chilled out on the ride down.

We were almost late for the show. It started at 2:00 and we pulled into the parking ramp at 1:55. We ran the two blocks to the Riverside Theatre. We got in, got our tickets, and got to our seat with plenty of time to spare. We sat down, Brendan looked around, and told Jeremy "we're in a theatre." We're not sure how he knew what a theatre was. He's never been in one.

Pictures will never show how excited he was. I swear that as soon as he sees a camera he goes into typical Brendan-camera mode. But, he LOVED every minute of the show. He clapped and bopped along.

**on a side note, I think the woman in the background next to Jeremy is ticked off that she can't have another beer. Yes, beer! They served alcohol at a children's show. In the middle of the afternoon! Absurd.**

When the show was done he got to walk the streets of the city.

And go on his first escalator ride, which he thought was pretty cool.

It was a fun day, but he was beat by the time we got to the car.

Here's a brief little video of him throughout the show.
